In the keynote report session, Dai Jing, Executive Deputy Director of the Energy Governance Research Centre of Tsinghua University's Energy Internet Innovation Research Institute, officially released the Research Report on the Development of Electricity Digital Infrastructure. In September of 2023, commissioned by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Industry Promotion Centre, led by Tsinghua University's Energy Internet Innovation Research Institute, and in conjunction with nearly 20 leading enterprises in the industry, well-known universities and research institutes, the group systematically combed through typical scenarios of electric power digitisation, and analysed the technological needs of each scenario for digital infrastructure. Combined with the evolution of the development of digital infrastructure of the electric power system, it is proposed that the electric power digital infrastructure has entered the 5th generation, and summarised and refined the generational characteristics of the electric power digital infrastructure. On the evening of the 22nd, at the General Assembly of the Energy Internet Special Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering and the 2023 Working Conference, the application for the establishment of a working group on the topic of "electric power digital infrastructure" was considered and approved, and the working group will continue to conduct research on the typical scenarios of electric power digitisation and the development needs of electric power digital infrastructure in the long term.
