He mentioned that the institute has responded to the national energy revolution, utilizing its disciplinary advantages, focusing on policy research, technology innovation, industrial ecology, and talent cultivation, and has undertaken several projects, been selected as a national high level think tank, and supported the top-level design. In the face of global energy change, the university will support the development of the institute as always, hoping that the institute will plan the strategic layout with a higher standpoint, promote the intersection of disciplines with a broader vision, and cultivate the innovation momentum with a deeper cultivation, so that it can contribute to Tsinghua's wisdom and China's solution on the journey of building a world-class university, and make greater contributions to promoting the change of the global energy governance system.

Mr. Shi Yubo, Chairman of China Energy Research Association, warmly congratulated the Institute in his speech. He mentioned that the institute, adhering to the concept of innovation-driven development, has made outstanding achievements in the fields of policy and strategy research, core technology research, high-end talent training and international exchange and cooperation. As an important academic organization, China Energy Research Association, since its establishment in 1981, has been serving the national energy strategy as its mission, and is committed to building a high-level academic exchange platform, formulating industry standards, and supporting the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient energy system. He hoped that the China Energy Research Association and the Institute would deepen strategic synergy, make breakthroughs in the construction of the energy Internet standard system, the expansion of key technology application scenarios and other areas, and jointly write a magnificent chapter of the era of green energy transformation.

Mr. Chen Guoping, Deputy General Manager of State Grid Corporation and Vice President of China Electrical Engineering Society, firstly recognized the outstanding contribution of the Institute as a domestic pioneer in the “carbon peak and carbon neutrality” target and energy transformation. He mentioned that the proposal of a new type of power system has driven a profound change in the power system. At present, facing the technical challenges brought by the development of new energy, in the process of transformation, it is necessary to respect the characteristics of power development, and urgently formulate appropriate technical routes to guide the planning path. State Grid and the Institute have cooperated closely for a long time, and in the future, both sides will deepen cooperation in the fields of technological innovation, standardization, international exchanges and talent cultivation, to promote the integration of industry, academia and research, and to serve China's energy transformation and the construction of the new type of power system.

In video message, Phil Taylor, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bath and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, spoke highly of the Institute's leading role in driving the global energy transition, and called for deeper China-UK and international research collaboration to address challenges such as climate change. He pointed out that the Institute is unique in its ability to shape the future by driving smart energy innovation through new power systems, a vision that is highly compatible with UK and global development goals. President Taylor recalled the long history of cooperation between the University of Bath and China and advocated the deepening of China-UK clean energy cooperation, proposing the establishment of joint research centers, joint training of doctoral students, China-UK training courses and other modes of cooperation, so as to bring the fruits of innovation to the world.

Dan Kammen, James and Katherine Lau Chair of Sustainability Engagement at the University of California, Berkeley, congratulated Tsinghua University's Institute for Energy Internet Innovation on its 10th anniversary in a video message and expressed his heartfelt thanks for past collaborations. He mentioned that over the past five years, many scholars have visited his lab and carried out several exchanges, during which they have co-authored several journal papers covering a wide range of areas such as grid stability and clean energy market mechanisms. He emphasized that by integrating energy technology, information technology and infrastructure innovations, the Institute provides a unique path for the global green transition that “directly serves people's livelihoods”. He emphasized that China and the United States should cooperate and work together to move forward, and he looked forward to further exchanges and visits between the two sides in the future.

Mr. Kang Chongqing, President of Energy Internet Research Institute, Tsinghua University, made a working report titled “Ten Years of Energy Creation, Intelligent Drawing for the Future”, summarizing the ten-year development history and looking forward to the future.
