The Green Transportation Sub-forum and Working Committee Meeting of the China Energy Internet Conference (CEIC) was successfully held at the Zhangjiang Science Hall in Shanghai on October 26. The meeting was attended by Wang Litian, chief expert of China Railway Sixth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., Zheng Zedong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University and deputy director of the Green Transportation and High-efficiency Energy Conversion Research Center of the Energy Internet Research Institute of Tsinghua University, Wang Chen, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China Heavy Truck Group, Mei Wenqing, deputy general manager of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, Li Xiao, deputy researcher of the Motor Transport Center of the Ministry of Transport, and leaders and experts from member units of the Green Transportation Working Committee.
In the report session of the meeting, seven keynote reports were delivered by Li Xiao, deputy researcher of the Motor Transport Center of the Ministry of Transport, Wang Chen, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of China Heavy Truck Group, Li Yifan, Key Account Manager of Siemens Transportation Equipment, Niu Zhen, dean of the Kebao E-Control Research Institute, Zheng Zedong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University and deputy director of the Green Transportation and High-efficiency Energy Conversion Research Center of the Energy Internet Research Institute of Tsinghua University, Huang Min, deputy director of the Basic Center of the Research Institute of CRRC Zhuzhou Institute, and Lv Zhipeng, director of the Center of State Grid Shanghai Energy Internet Research Institute. The topics of the reports covered various aspects of green transportation, such as low-carbon and efficient transportation, new energy heavy-duty commercial vehicles, dynamic charging for heavy-load freight transportation on highways, electrified highways, and highway chain energy networks. The meeting was chaired by Zheng Zedong, secretary-general of the working committee and deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University. Experts from the working committee gathered together to discuss the key technologies and development trends of green transportation systems. In the future, the Green Transportation Working Committee will strengthen in-depth exchanges and cooperation with governments, universities, research institutions and enterprises, further promote the integration and optimization of resources, innovate investment and financing models, open up financing channels, provide support for demonstration projects and large-scale promotion, and jointly promote the implementation of green transportation system solutions such as electrified highways.
On the morning of October 26, the CEIC held an award ceremony for the “Outstanding Contribution Award” winners. Zhou Wei and Wang Litian from the Green Transportation Working Committee won the award. The award was produced with the recommendation by industry experts and various working committees of CEIC, and assessment by the CEIC council.
