He has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation of China, one 863 sub-topic, one sub-topic of Science and Technology Support Programme, seven international cooperation projects, nine major horizontal projects, and participated in two 973 projects as a technical backbone. He is a member of the Transmission Engineering Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrotechnology, the Engineering Dielectric Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrotechnology, the Electrical Equipment Safety and Information Technology Committee of the Chinese Society of Electrical Engineering, the Gas Insulated Metal Enclosed Electric Appliances Standardisation Technical Committee, the On-line Inspection of Electric Power Equipment Standardisation Technical Committee, and a member of the Encyclopaedia of Electricity in China, which is a volume of the Fundamentals of Electricity Technology: He is the deputy editor-in-chief of the branch of "High Voltage Technology" of "China Encyclopedia of Electric Power". He has published more than 60 papers, including more than 10 papers in SCI and more than 40 papers in EI. He has received more than 10 awards from provincial and ministerial levels, as well as from the State Grid and the Southern Power Grid.
