About Us
Introduction
Tsinghua University Student Energy Association was established in June 2023. It's an officially registered student organization at Tsinghua University, dedicated to scientific and innovative endeavors, with the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronic Technology serving as its guiding entity.
Energy, a foundational element of the modern economy, has a decisive influence on a nation's economic operations and societal progression. Currently, China is spearheading an energy revolution, accelerating the transition to alternative energy sources and intensifying energy conservation and emission reduction efforts. The focus is on developing clean and renewable energy, optimizing energy utilization efficiency to achieve sustainable economic growth and environmental conservation.
Tsinghua University Student Energy Association is committed to disseminating energy knowledge among students, helping them to spotlight energy-related issues, understand China's energy framework, and inspire them to contribute to energy security, economic growth, and environmental protection. Through academic seminars, technological dialogues, practical explorations, forum exhibitions, and the compilation of energy technology journals, the association establishes a cutting-edge platform for discourse on traditional energy, new energy, and the energy internet. This initiative is aimed not only at empowering the entire Tsinghua community to gain a profound understanding of China's traditional energy landscape but also at contributing Tsinghua's expertise towards ensuring China's energy security and its ongoing energy transition.

Compilation of Energy Technology Publications
Tsinghua University Student Energy Association takes pride in its pivotal role in disseminating knowledge within the realm of energy technology. One of our signature endeavors is the meticulous compilation of energy technology publications. By interviewing scholars, experts, and industry professionals, and hosting academic salons for discussion, we have curated insights at the forefront of academia and industry. Our objective is to inspire our peers, foster innovation, and facilitate forward-thinking dialogues on future energy solutions.
Dual Mentorship Program in Research and Industry
This unique system aligns students with not just one, but two mentors—one from the academic sector and another from the industry. By doing so, we ensure that students gain a holistic view of the energy field, benefiting from the theoretical depth of academia and the practical insights of the industry. This mentorship model fosters an environment where students are encouraged to bridge the gap between research and real-world applications, leveraging the best of both worlds.
