Dai Jing received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Applied Electronics Technology, Tsinghua University, and the School of Electrical and Computer Science, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, respectively. She is currently the vice director of the Energy Governance Research Centre of the Energy Internet Research Institute at Tsinghua University. She is also the Secretary General of the Carbon Neutral Power Committee of the National Energy Internet Industry and Technology Innovation Alliance, and the Executive Secretary General of the Integrated Energy System Committee of the China Association of Industrial Energy Conservation and Cleaner Production. She has been engaged in energy strategy and power think tank research for a long time, and in recent years, she has undertaken several research projects on new power systems under the "Carbon Peaking & Carbon Neutrality
" target commissioned by the National Energy Administration (NEA), the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), and the Institute of National Governance and Global Governance (INGG) of Tsinghua University. She was awarded the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Outstanding Achievement Award for the "Technical Research Report on New Electric Power System". As a core member, he participated in the preparation of "Introduction to New Power System", one of the first series of books on "Carbon Peaking & Carbon Neutrality" by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST). She has undertaken or participated in two projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) as a core member, and participated in one young scientist project of the National Key R&D Programme (Energy Storage and Smart Grid Special Project) as a core member.
