Virtual Power Plant Development Engineer

Responsibilities:
Conduct research on:
Virtual power plants (VPP)
Source-grid-load-storage coordination
Resource aggregation/optimization
User response/intelligent decision systems
Demand-side resource business models
Develop data-driven models using big data/AI technologies.
Manage R&D projects:
Grant applications, technical exchanges, implementation, and award submissions
Produce technical reports and presentations on cutting-edge technologies.
Deliver high-impact applied research outcomes and provide technical training.
Qualifications:
Master’s/Ph.D. in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, Power Markets, or Energy Economics (Ph.D. preferred).
Preferred:
2+ years industry experience
Project leadership and peer-reviewed publications (submit evidence)
Programming (Python/Matlab), operations research, or data analytics skills
Essential Skills:
Exceptional analytical/problem-solving abilities
Technical writing and public presentation proficiency
Office software mastery
CET-6+ English proficiency; advanced technical literature reading/writing.
