Power Market Data Analysis Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize real-world operational data from various countries' power markets to support the research center's projects in the related field.

2. Conduct data-driven research in relevant areas, including modeling and forecasting of electricity user behavior and market clearing prices, optimization of electricity user decisions, market mechanism design and evaluation, and more.

3. Conduct literature reviews, model development, case verification, and report writing.

Qualifications:

1. A full-time master's degree or higher in electrical engineering and its automation or other related fields. 2. Proficiency in power market theory and power system simulation. Familiar with machine learning methods and programming languages such as MATLAB or Python.

3. Knowledge of deep learning and reinforcement learning theory preferred.

4. CET-6 (College English Test Band 6) or above certificate or equivalent, capable of reading English research literature.

5. Diligent, initiative, and responsible, with a good sense of teamwork, strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
