Position: Intern - Flexible Power Supply and Energy Management

Responsibilities:

Under faculty guidance, participate in research projects related to flexible power supply equipment and systems for rail transit, data centers, and petrochemical/metallurgical industries, including project investigation, feasibility analysis, and report drafting.

Engage in one or more of the following areas:

Detailed design, algorithm development, and simulation validation of power electronics equipment for flexible power supply systems

R&D of energy management systems and intelligent O&M platforms for grid-forming flexible power supply systems

Machine learning and model training for optimized control of grid-forming flexible power supply systems

IoT analysis/design and digital twin architecture development for power electronics-based flexible power supply systems

Assist in project requirement documentation, tender proposal preparation, project execution, and acceptance reviews; regularly report task progress.

Contribute to patent applications and academic publications.

Qualifications:

Current Master's/PhD student or exceptional undergraduate (prioritizing majors: Electrical/Power Engineering, Energy, Computer Science, Automation) from accredited universities worldwide.

Proficient in technical literature research and report writing; familiar with simulation tools (MATLAB, PSCAD, Python).

Candidates with relevant project R&D experience preferred.

Minimum 3-month commitment; longer durations prioritized.
