Position: Postdoctoral Researcher - Power Systems
Responsibilities:
Execute research projects in power systems and electricity markets: conduct feasibility studies, technical surveys, and author reports.
Perform requirement analysis, develop research methodologies, implement analytical models/algorithms, and achieve IP targets (patents/publications).
Provide technical guidance and co-supervise students.
Qualifications:
PhD obtained within 3 years (Electrical Engineering/Power Systems preferred) from accredited institutions; strong academic foundation with experience in major S&T projects prioritized.
Exceptional technical writing skills; preference for candidates with publications in core journals covering:
Electricity markets
Power economics
Dispatching automation
Power marketing
Proficient in power system operation/analysis fundamentals; priority for Python/MATLAB modeling skills.
Demonstrated:
Rigorous logical thinking and analytical capabilities
Industry insight with project experience in:
• Electricity trading
• Power dispatch operations
• Power sector reform
CET-6 or equivalent English proficiency; fluent in technical literature.
Diligent, proactive, team-oriented, detail-focused, accountable, with strong problem-solving/communication skills.
