Position: Postdoctoral Researcher - Energy Governance
Responsibilities:
Conduct think tank research on energy internet, renewables, dual carbon strategy, and green finance; perform policy/industrial/economic analysis; author research/due diligence reports; present findings.
Track global energy technology trends and industrial project developments; advise policymakers and investors.
Execute research/consulting projects: requirement documentation, tender proposals, project delivery, and acceptance reviews.
Independently conduct data collection, modeling, analysis, and iterative report refinement.
Engage advanced energy/tech firms for industrial trend analysis.
Support public academic services and talent development at Tsinghua University.
Qualifications:
PhD within 3 years (Electrical Engineering, Finance, Economics, Energy, Materials preferred) from accredited institutions.
Exceptional policy research/writing skills; priority for candidates with:
Technical consulting experience
Publications in renewables/green finance/dual carbon fields
Energy project investment banking background
Strong communication/stress tolerance; rigorous logic; data analysis proficiency; proactive problem-solving; willingness to travel.

Government agencies
Corporations
Financial institutions
CET-6 or equivalent; fluent technical English reading.
Diligent, proactive, team-oriented, detail-focused, accountable, with strong problem-solving/communication skills.
