DC Research Center
Responsibilities:
1. Research the topologies and overall design methods of core DC equipment such as DC circuit breakers, DC transformers and DC converter valves.
2. Research the electrical-design methods for such equipment, including main-circuit scheme design, electrical-parameter design, system simulation analysis, component selection and power-module design.
3. Develop and test such equipment, including prototype development, hardware/software debugging and testing, and engineering application.
4. Participate in the overall architecture design and key-technology development of the team's SST (10 kV AC / 800 V DC) power-supply system.
Requirements / Qualifications:
1. PhD in Electrical Engineering, Automation or a related field.
2. Industry R&D experience in HCC, DC circuit breakers, DC transformers, MMC, MDC, converters, current-source power supplies or DC energy-dissipation devices is preferred.
3. Team-oriented, conscientious and responsible, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
