Postdoctoral Researcher - Electric Transportation & V2G Distribution Network Simulation and Policy

Position: Postdoctoral Researcher - Electric Transportation & V2G Distribution Network Simulation and Policy

Responsibilities:

Lead research for national key S&T projects and consulting initiatives.

Conduct simulation and techno-economic evaluation of electric transportation and V2G systems.

Develop business models, policy mechanisms, and standardization frameworks for V2G integration.

Design demonstration projects and efficacy assessment methodologies for V2G implementation.

Transform research outcomes into publications, patents, software copyrights, standards, and think tank briefings.

Support IEC Systems Committee for Sustainable Electrified Transportation and China Renewable Energy Society Electric Vehicle Committee.

Facilitate collaborations with external institutions and experts.

Execute additional tasks assigned by team lead.

Qualifications:

PhD (prioritizing Electrical Engineering) from accredited institutions.

Exceptional intellectual curiosity, responsibility, insight, and self-learning capabilities.

Strong commitment to analyzing industry challenges and policy mechanisms.

Proven research/consulting skills; preference for MATLAB/Python programming and software development experience.

Professional English proficiency in reading, writing, and face-to-face communication.
